看图作文是新加坡小学华文写作的主力题型。孩子最常见的作文长这样:「有一天,小明去公园。然后他看见一个老人。然后他去帮忙。然后大家都很开心。」四个"然后",句句是真的,但读起来像流水账。这一页讲怎么从这一步走出去。Picture composition is the mainstay of Chinese writing in Singapore primary school. The typical first attempt reads: "One day Xiao Ming went to the park. Then he saw an old man. Then he helped. Then everyone was happy." Four "then"s, all true, and it reads like a list. This page is about getting past that.
看图作文到底考什么What picture composition actually tests
很多家长以为考的是"词好不好"。其实主要考三件事,而且顺序很重要:Many parents assume it rewards fancy vocabulary. It mainly tests three things, and the order matters:
- 有没有把图的意思讲完整——起因、经过、结果,一个都不能少。这部分丢分最多。Did you tell the whole story — cause, middle, outcome. This is where most marks are lost.
- 句子通不通、标点对不对——基本功,扣分很实在。Are the sentences and punctuation sound — the basics, and they cost real marks.
- 有没有一点自己的东西——一句心理描写、一个细节、一句对话。这部分决定能不能再上一档。Is there anything of your own — a thought, a detail, a line of dialogue. This decides the top band.
💡 先保第 1、2 项,再谈第 3 项。把成语堆进一篇没讲清楚的故事里,分数不会变高。💡 Secure 1 and 2 before chasing 3. Idioms piled into a story that was never clear do not raise the score.
四格图怎么读:先别写,先问Reading the pictures: ask before writing
孩子一拿到题就开始写,往往写到第三格才发现前面漏了关键信息。先花三分钟,四格各问三句:Children usually start writing immediately, then discover at picture three that something essential was missed. Spend three minutes first — three questions per picture:
- 看见什么?(人、地点、东西)What do you see? (who, where, what)
- 发生了什么?(这一格的动作)What is happening? (the action in this frame)
- 他心里会怎么想?(这一句最值钱,也最常被跳过)What is he thinking? (the most valuable question, and the most often skipped)
最后一格还要多问一句:「这件事教了我们什么?」——结尾那一两句感想通常就藏在这里。For the last frame, add one more: "what did this teach us?" — the closing reflection usually hides there.
一个能套的骨架A frame they can reuse
| 段落Paragraph | 写什么What goes in | 大约Roughly |
|---|---|---|
| 开头Opening | 时间、地点、人物;用一个细节代替"有一天"When, where, who — a detail instead of "one day" | 2–3 句2–3 sentences |
| 经过(一)Middle 1 | 事情怎么开始的(第 1、2 格)How it started (frames 1–2) | 3–4 句3–4 sentences |
| 经过(二)Middle 2 | 最要紧的那一格:动作 + 心里想什么 + 一句对话The key frame: action + thought + one line of dialogue | 4–5 句4–5 sentences |
| 结尾Ending | 结果 + 一句感想(不必喊口号)Outcome + one reflection (no slogans needed) | 2–3 句2–3 sentences |
骨架的用处是让孩子知道每一段该干什么,不是让他套模板。写熟了自然会跳出去。The frame exists so the child knows what each paragraph is for — not so they can fill in a template. Once fluent, they will break out of it naturally.
开头怎么写才不老套Openings that aren’t stale
「有一天」不是错,只是全班都这么写。换一个角度就立刻不一样:"One day" is not wrong — it is just what everyone writes. A small shift changes it entirely:
- 从声音开始:「叮铃铃——下课铃响了。」Start with a sound: "Rrring — the bell for recess."
- 从天气开始:「那天下午,太阳晒得人睁不开眼。」Start with the weather: "That afternoon the sun was too bright to look at."
- 从动作开始:「小明背着书包,一路跑向巴士站。」Start with an action: "Bag bouncing, Xiao Ming ran for the bus stop."
- 从心情开始:「小明今天特别开心,因为……」Start with a feeling: "Xiao Ming was especially happy today, because…"
💡 让孩子挑一种,连用两周,写熟了再换下一种。一次给四种,他一种也记不住。💡 Pick one and use it for two weeks before moving on. Offer all four at once and none will stick.
怎么把满篇的"然后"换掉Getting past “and then”
"然后"多,通常不是连接词不够,而是每件事写得太少——一句话就跳到下一件,只好用"然后"接。真正的解法是把关键那一格放慢:Too many "then"s usually means not too few connectives but too little in each event — one sentence and it jumps on, so "then" has to carry it. The fix is to slow down the key frame:
| 原句Before | 放慢之后Slowed down |
|---|---|
| 然后他去帮忙。Then he helped. | 小明愣了一下,赶紧跑过去,弯下腰扶住老人的手臂。「爷爷,您慢一点。」他轻声说。Xiao Ming froze for a second, then ran over and steadied the old man's arm. "Careful, uncle," he said softly. |
同一件事,从 1 句变成 3 句:动作拆细了、加了一句对话、带出了语气。不需要任何生僻词。One event, one sentence becomes three: the action is broken down, a line of dialogue is added, a tone comes through. No rare vocabulary required.
给孩子一个具体口令就够用:「把这一句拆成三句:先做了什么、再做了什么、他说了什么。」One concrete instruction is enough: "turn this sentence into three — what he did first, what he did next, what he said."
从一句话到一篇文:按年级爬梯子From one sentence to an essay
| 年级Level | 目标Target |
|---|---|
| P1–P2 | 看图写一句完整的话,再到一小段。有主语、有动作、句号别丢。One complete sentence per picture, then a short paragraph. Subject, action, and don't lose the full stop. |
| P3–P4 | 四格连成一个完整故事,会分段,开始加心理活动。Four frames into one whole story, in paragraphs, with feelings starting to appear. |
| P5–P6 | 详略分明——关键那格写透,次要的一笔带过;结尾有自己的想法。Control of pace — the key frame in full, the rest in passing; an ending with a real thought in it. |
如果孩子在 P4 还写不出完整故事,别急着往上加要求,退回去先把"讲完整"练稳。顺序反了,越练越怕写。If a P4 child still cannot tell a whole story, do not stack on more requirements — go back and secure completeness first. Reverse the order and writing becomes something to dread.
家长怎么改,才不会让孩子怕写Feedback that doesn’t kill the writing
- 先找一句真心喜欢的,指出来。「你写'他愣了一下',我看见那个画面了。」具体,别只说"写得好"。Find one line you genuinely like and name it. "'He froze for a second' — I could see that." Be specific; "good job" does nothing.
- 一次只提一个改进点。满篇红字的结果是孩子下次写得更短更安全。One improvement per piece. A page of red ink produces shorter, safer writing next time.
- 让他自己改一句,不要你代笔。你改的句子是你的,不是他的。Let them rewrite the line themselves. A sentence you wrote is yours, not theirs.
- 错别字和标点分开处理。那是听写和语法的事,别混进"会不会写作文"里一起骂。Handle spelling and punctuation separately. Those belong to tingxie and grammar — don't fold them into "can you write".
